How many women has this man? His girlfriend Name! His lover? Name! His fiancee! His wife! But one day he will see, it all comes back to him!
ich möchte etwas über einen Hunde-Gasi-Gang schreiben.
Holding the frisbee in both hands, he walked a few steps along the path until he reached the first trees of the forest. All the while the dog hopped and jumped around him.
Ich weiß nicht, ob das "all the while" richtig ist. Vielleicht wäre es besser "all along", oder "all the time" zu benutzen?
Ich persönlich würde ein einfaches "the whole time" verwenden; "all the while" kommt aber wohl auch in Frage.
Das "Advanced learner's dictionary" definiert den Ausdruck als "for all of a period of time" und bringt das Beispiel:
"There I was thinking you were hard at work and you were upstairs in bed all the while!"
Gibt es ein englisches Wort für das deutsche "all" im Zusammenhängen wie "das Eis ist all" oder "das Geld ist all"? Oder sind dann nur Übersetzungen wie "Icecream is emty/eaten" oder " the money is away/is gone" möglich?
Bei dem Beispiel mit dem Geld: Mein Geld ist alle / I've run out of money oder ugs.: I'm broke. Ansonsten für aufgebraucht empty, finished, all gone, left. Left z. There's no sugar left. Andere würden sagen: We've or I've run out of sugar...

In my life school plays a large part, although I don`t like it proper to learn. Because I have an exactly association where does my way will go, I work towards it. I have the primary school in good reminder, because I liked the school very much. Only maths was a lesson, which I really hated and till this day I don´t like mathematics. Anyway I have no comprehension for it. At the gymnasium I got bullied for one year – this wasn`t very nice and it has me contributed to feel very often bad. Also here it was the lesson mathematics, which stressed me. Currently I visit the gymnasium in xx and I like the school very much. I think today it`s important to graduate a school with an examination, because only with this graduate it`s possible to visit an university. Self companies would like to have examinations as requirement to hire somebody. Of course I often ask me, what`s that in aid of with old greek? Otherwise I think again: what I can, nobody can take it away from me! Without a solid education it is very heavy to find a well-paid job. I think, my school education in Italy is a plus factor for my university studies. Who have to his additional qualifications also different languages, maybe he gets more offers, than not multilingual candidates. Therefore I think that school is important, given that it`s not naturally in a lot of countries in the world! Therefore I would like to finish school with a graduate, afterwards I will pass a university education in Austria and Italy and maybe I would like to work abroad for some years and than I would like to have a family. A lot of people choose a contrary way and do not graduate with school and end up at the employment center, but this is not my way.
In my life school plays a big part, even though I don't really like to work for it. Since I have an exact idea where my way is going to take me, I work towards it. I remember the elementary school well because I liked to visit it. Only mathematics has always been a subject which I have hated and even nowadays I don't really like it. Somehow my understanding for maths is missing. At grammar school I was mobbed, this was not nice at all and the result of this was that I felt bad very often. Also here it was the subject mathematics that stressed me.
At the moment I'm visiting the grammar school in XX and here I like it very much. I think that nowadays it's important to finish school with a certificate (A Level) because only this way you can carry on studying at a university. Even companies ask for this exam as a qualification when you apply for a job. Of course I ask myself very often what I need e.g. Ancient Greek for? On the other hand I think that what I know, noone can take away from me again. Without a solid education it is difficult to find a well paid job. I think that my school education here in Italy is another advantage for further studies.
Applicants who speak several languages in addition to the qualifications might have a better chance for a good job than others who don't speak languages. This is why I think that school is important, if you consider that in many countries of the world school education is not natural. This is why I want to finish school with a certificate, afterwards finisch a university education in Austria and Italy, maybe work abroad for some years and after this have a family. Many choose this the other way round, don't bother finishing school and end up at the employment office. But this is not my way.....
I remember the day when my mum got birth to my little sister.
It was absolutely crazy. My dad had an accident and broke his toes. Prepartum my dad would`nt, that I tell to Mum about this accident, because she was still in hospital. Of course I called my mum and I told her everything. She was very worried, because I spent time at home alone with my 2 little sisters. Therefore she would go home, but the doctors not tolerable this. At home everything was higgledy-piggledy! My mum would`nt give birth to her baby alone, therefore she was nervous. So I thought to myself: Okay, I´m game! Thankfully my dad stayed with her just in time. During the birth something funny was happened: A doctor kicked my dad undeliberately on his broken toes! He was powerless and my mum was alone. After the birth I was the first, who cuddled my little sister! In this moment I was very very proud and happy! We both must think on Dad and that he was lying next to our room After he was recovered, he was able to cuddle his little daughter. Also today we are laughing about Dad`s behaviour during the birth and he`s hopping mad!
(Keine Ahnung, was 'prepartum' heißt / 'I'm game' verstehe ich auch nicht -----
I remember the day when my mother gave birth to my little sister. It was absolutely crazy. My dad had an accident and broke his toes. Because my mother was in hospital my dad didn't want me to tell my mother about this. But of course I called my mother and told her. She was worried because I was at home on my own with my 2 little sisters. For this reason she wanted to leave the hospital but the doctors didn't let her. At home everything was higgledy-piggledy! My mother was nervous because she wanted someone to be there when she was having the baby, thank God my dad stayed with her. While my mother was having the baby something funny happened: a doctor stepped on my father's broken toes by mistake, this made everything worse and in the end my mother was on her own.
After my little sister was born I was the first one to cuddle her, at this moment I was very proud and happy. Both of us thought of dad and that he was in the room next door to us. After he had recovered he also cuddled his little daughter.
Still today we laugh about what happened to dad when my sister was born and he goes mad.
My first experience in a foreign country is the visit of the International European School in xx. Last year a new period of life started for me and my family. A foreign language, which I don`t good command, the life and the culture, which I date only from the holidays, they fascinate me. Allthough it was heavy in the beginning to get used to the new school and particulary the language of instruction Italian, I have already settled well. The first 2-3 month I felt not so good and I would stop for many times school to return at home to Austria. Thank goodness my mum stayed with me and she cajole and support me. Bit by bit it has improved and I have managed the first school-year well. After the Christmas Holidays I developed my love for the Italian language. My favourite school subjects are italian and history. I formed many friendships and met nice neighbours! With my family I undertook a lot and we visited a lot in and around XX. Especially I like the italian fashion and the fact, that after work the Italian people always met them for a drink. Then they are sitting in front of a pub or on a piazza. The Italians take everything a bit chillier as the Austrians. I have perceived the Italian people as very friendly and soft-hearted. I also like it to linger against the central point and watch there the people. But I don`t like for example, that we pupils have education until 6 o`clock a.m. My schooldays are like workdays, my mum says and I agree her. However I`m happy, that I can visit this school even if the country is in the meantime my “second home”, I`m looking forward again and again to my home in Austria.

My hero is my mother! Some people think certainly, that I´m a mothers-girl, but it`s true! I always look up to my mother! Maybe, because I was raised different as other teens. Behavoir, respect and decency are goodnesses, which are very important for my parents and which they learned me, my sisters and my brother since we were a child. She`s my hero, because she`s always there for me and she helps me always. I can unconditional count on her! When I´m sad, she`s here and she hugges me. We can tell us everything and we have no secrets before each other. First she`s taking time for me, my brother and my sisters and then she`s following. I notice for example, that on Saturday after school, the teens often greet their parents very bored. I can´t understand this! They greet shortly and sit down into the car. They don`t let hug, because it`s apparently uncool, to show at the classmates, that they love their parents and that they are glad to see them! I greet my parents always with a kiss and I huge them! Every day! I`m proud to be their daughter. Why should I behave different? I hope, that I will become later also a great and good mother, such like my mother is! Certainly sometimes she`s angry, but very very rare. She`s of a sunny disposition. Moreover she manages a lot at the same time: us children, the household, the garden and her work. She`s really a super-woman Especially she`s my hero, because she must be always strong for my sister. In fact she has no time for being ill. The everyday life with my sister is very exhausting, but she manages always, that our day pass off good. To be honest: in the evening she`s always tuckered out.

It's me, my brother and my sisters who she spends her time on first and afterwards on herself.

What makes my mum my special hero is the fact that she always has to be strong because of my sister. She has no time to become ill. The everyday life with my sister is very exhausting but she always manages that our day passes in a good way. To be honest in the evening she is always tuckered out.
