Ich persönlich würde ein einfaches "the whole time" verwenden; "all the while" kommt aber wohl auch in Frage.
Das "Advanced learner's dictionary" definiert den Ausdruck als "for all of a period of time" und bringt das Beispiel:
"There I was thinking you were hard at work and you were upstairs in bed all the while!"
