Ja, das ist wirklich ein Jammer, dass die Corona-Welle solche Auswirkungen auf die Möglichkeiten hat, seine Familie und die 'Kleinen' zu sehen!

Dear A family,
I was delighted to receive your Christmas mail at this difficult and special time.
This was for me a nice distraction from the boring everyday life.
I am fine so far and I can't complain.
The only thing that is missing are social contacts and activities.
From mid-March to June, there was an absolute ban on visitors in our facility and you were not allowed to leave it.
For me that was very hard.
After that, only one person was allowed to visit me with prior registration.
We are currently facing the second lockdown and it will probably be like in spring again.
I miss it very much to see regularly the whole family and especially the great-grandchildren.
At least some small comfort is the Internet and the option of video telephony to keep in touch with everyone.
Unfortunately, I cannot report much positive news either.
The hope remains that normality will return bit by bit.
We wish you a Merry Christmas with the family and a Happy New Year.
