Ich erlaube mir ein paar Anmerkungen:
- Als Anrede würde ich vorschlagen: Dear members of the team, ...
- I am sorry to have to tell you ... gefällt mir persönlich besser als das formellere 'I regret to inform you'
- 'already the development team' - das 'already' würde ich hinter 'team' stellen
- 'retirement' würde ich ergänzen: retirement from active sport
- statt des Bandwurmsatzes empfehle ich zwei einzelne Sätze nach 'women in wrestling'
- 'we all agreed ' > we both agreed ?
- that it would be difficult to agree on the upcoming projects > that it would be difficult to coordinate the upcoming projects ...
- I will be always ... > das folgende, zweite 'always' würde ich weglassen
- on the edge of > at the edge of
