Englisch

I too had time to make my thoughts. When you asked me last year to accept this job, we have clarified from the beginning that my sporting career is in the foreground. During this time I was nevertheless also called for several times and saw this as slow incorporation. Even if it were easy tasks for you, it introduced me, just because of the language often under some pressure. I had also to deliver in my other job. For me, it represented a difficulty to deliver results, if I couldn't be often in the office, what simply was impossible withe my other position even with my sport engagement. I saw it as a challenge, but I have already clearly said from the beginning that my English is good enough to speak and write fluently. I've also wondered often whether my background, without any education in sports management area is good enough for your needs. But I thought that I will get - from the point I finish my career - a chance to learn the ropes.

The preparation time for certain things in English takes me several hours, what you personally might do in a half an hour. I took the matter very seriously and have therefore started after the World Cup to go back to school to improve my English and conclude with a diploma. It is very unpleasant to have to communicate in a language in which you do not feel safe. Especially when it is in the workplace.

When Maria asked me softly during the meeting if I'm going to write the minutes, you saw my look of inquiry - even before I could ask, did you you answered yes for me. That this was the question about the minutes, I know meanwhile. This is a small example of how easily misunderstandings arise when one is not 100% safe in the language.

I have carefully considered this step and was sure that this could be a chance for me as also could bring benefits for UWW with my experience and the contacts I have.

But today I see that especially the language problem already presents problems between us. I am also sure that I could give or say you certain things in my language differently or better. So I'm not sure if I am the right person for you. Also I feel that it does not make you happy that my coaching passion is so important for me. I thought the two areas can be reconciled perfectly, ultimately it is also about the future of our sport. But I think in the future this would always lead to complications and the way I feel you, you're looking for someone who can devote 100% of this assignement.

I'm not frustrated with the waiting time for the agreement. I am glad that we have discussed certain things now. I appreciate you and your work very much Lucas - the more it is important, that there is a solution that makes both happy.

I am working on your task list for days. Again, it takes me a lot of time if I want to write down the minutes, the notes for Jean-Daniel, as well as the report and the budget proposal for the course without errors. I am a person who wants to do the things perfectly. I hope that I manage everything in time.

Hallo Mila!

Vorschlag: Me too, I have thought about the situation.

„During this time I was nevertheless also called for several times and saw this as slow incorporation.” – auf Deutsch?

“it introduced me ... under some pressure.” – “it was stressful for me just because of ...”

I had also to deliver in my other job. > ... to manage my other job

that my English is good enough to speak and write fluently. > fehlt da nicht die Verneinung?

even before I could ask, did you you answered yes for me. > Vorschlag: even before I could clear the demand, you ... (‘you’ nur einmal)

and the way I feel you, you're looking for someone who can devote 100% of this assignement. > auf Deutsch?

Ciao, Tamy.

„During this time I was nevertheless also called for several times and saw this as slow incorporation.”

that my English is good enough to speak and write fluently. > fehlt da nicht die Verneinung? Stimmt

and the way I feel you, you're looking for someone who can devote 100% of this assignement.

Mein Vorschlag:
During this period I have been challenged by my tasks several times and I have endeavoured to master them. Sometimes it was stressful for me just because of the language problems.

Mein Vorschlag:
I imagine that you are looking for someone who is able to commit himself to the job with a 100% involvement.

“the more it is important, that there is a solution that makes both happy.”
Mein Vorschlag:
... the more it is important, that there is a solution that is satisfying for both of us.

Guten Erfolg!
Ciao, Tamy.
